Agreement: Simon and Elizabeth have acknowledged the manors and tenements to be the right of Thomas, of which Thomas and Walter have the toft, 80 acres of land and 102 shillings and 11 pence of rent in the vill of Lotryngton' of their gift.
For this: Walter and Thomas have granted to Simon and Elizabeth the same tenements and have rendered them to them in the court, to hold to Simon and Elizabeth and the heirs of their bodies, of the chief lords for ever. And besides Walter and Thomas granted for themselves and the heirs of Thomas that the manors, 2 messuages, the mill, 3 carucates of land, the meadow, 67 shillings and 6 pence of rent and the rent of 3 quarters and 6 bushels of salt in the vills of Ingoldesby, Thorp', Netilton', Herdewyk and North'cotes - which Katherine, who was the wife of Gilbert de Neuill', knight, held for life of the inheritance of Thomas on the day the agreement was made, and which after the decease of Katherine ought to revert to Walter and Thomas and the heirs of Thomas - after the decease of Katherine shall remain to Simon and Elizabeth and their aforesaid heirs, to hold together with the aforesaid tenements of the chief lords for ever. In default of such heirs, remainder to the right heirs of Elizabeth.
Note: This agreement was made in the presence of Katherine, and she did fealty to Simon and Elizabeth in the court.
