Agreement: Philip has acknowledged the manor, tenements and office of beadle to be the right of John, of which John and Ellis have the manor and tenements of his gift.
For this: John and Ellis have granted to Philip the manor and tenements and have rendered them to him in the court, to hold to Philip and the male heirs of his body, of the chief lords for ever. Property: A moiety of the manor of Ixeworth', excepting 1 penny of rent in the same moiety and the advowson of a moiety of the priory of Ixeworth'.
Action: Plea of covenant.
Agreement: The prior has granted to Rose the moiety and has rendered it to her in the court, to hold to Rose, of the lord king and his heirs for the life of Rose. And after the decease of Rose the moiety shall remain to Hervey, son of the same Rose, to hold of the lord king and his heirs for the life of Hervey. And after the decease of Hervey the moiety shall revert to the prior and his successors, quit of the heirs of Rose and Hervey, to hold of the lord king and his heirs, for the support of 2 canonical chaplains in the priory to be added beyond the number of canons first ordained there, to celebrate divine service each day in the church of the priory for the souls of all the faithful dead for ever.
