ABSTRACTS OF CORONERS' INQUESTS IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE:
30 EDWARD III TO 34 EDWARD III
(JUST 2/115)

Copyright Stephen Swailes.

This index is compiled from The National Archives JUST 2/115 roll for Northamptonshire which contains inquests in the north east of the county around Oundle and Peterborough. Dates range from 1356/6 to 1360/61. The index given here has been sorted A to Z by place name.

The first few membranes are damaged such that large amounts of information are lost. The remaining roll is badly damaged particularly on the left side such that the names of deceased persons are often missing along with names of witnesses and jurors. Where a name could be determined with confidence the inquest is included in this index.
