A search facility based on indexes to selected Court of Common Pleas (CP 40) and King's Bench (KB 27) plea rolls for the period 1349-1596, and also King's Bench (KB 9) indictment rolls and oyer and terminer commissions, compiled by Vance Mead and Rosemary Simons, from photographs of the documents made available by Robert Palmer, Elspeth Rosbrook and Susanne Brand at the Anglo-American Legal Tradition website. This search form presents results with the names in each entry listed in the same order in which they occur in the index.
(Note that there is a separate search facility for other AALT Lists and Indexes, which also includes the KB 9 and 27 plea rolls.)
