And whereof Roger, son of Gilbert, was summoned to answer by what right he exacted common in the land of Roger, son of Henry, since Roger, son of Henry, has no common in the land of Roger, son of Gilbert, and Roger, son of Gilbert, does not do service to him for which he ought to have common in his land.
Action: Plea.
Agreement: Roger, son of Henry, has acknowledged and granted for himself and his heirs that Roger, son of Gilbert, and his heirs and their tenants of Wythyrslak' shall henceforth have common of pasture in the land of Roger, son of Henry, of Mythop' and Bethu' both for their own cattle and for other cattle to be agisted by Roger, son of Gilbert, and his heirs in the same place, to wit, from that place which is called le Whytak' in a straight line and directly between Stanreys and Uluey up to the nearest bridge of the sand of Kent which is called Quakingdebrigg' and thus in a straight line and directly through the middle of a certain marsh which is called le Wagan, for putting to graze all kinds of their cattle towards the northern parts as far as the middle of that wood which is called le Knykeles, and from Knykeles in a straight line and directly [as far as] that place which is called Estbretpol', and from Estbretpol' by going up towards the northern parts by the water of Estbretpol' as far as the water of Helton'tern.
