Agreement: John has acknowledged the tenements to be the right of Adam. For this, Adam and Margery have granted to John and Joan the messuages, [67] acres of land, the meadow and the rent and have rendered them to them in the court, to hold to John and Joan and the heirs of their bodies, of Adam and Margery and the heirs of Adam for ever, rendering yearly 1 rose at the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist, and doing to the chief lords all other services. And besides Adam and Margery granted for themselves and the heirs of Adam that 2 acres of land - which John Rolt held for life - and that 2 acres of land - which John Fraunceys held for life - and also that 1 acre of land - which Walter Pegge held for life - of the demise of Adam in the aforesaid vill on the day the agreement was made, and which after the decease of John Rolt, John Fraunceys and Walter ought to revert to Adam and Margery and the heirs of Adam - after the decease of John Rolt, John Fraunceys and Walter shall remain to John Malyn and Joan and their aforesaid heirs, to hold together with the aforesaid tenements of Adam and Margery and the heirs of Adam by the aforesaid services for ever. In default of such heirs, all the tenements shall revert to Adam and Margery and the heirs of Adam, quit of the other heirs of John Malyn and Joan, to hold of the chief lords for ever.

Property: 2 tofts and 34 acres of land in Colmorth', which John de Boweles holds for life.

Agreement: John and Margery have acknowledged the tenements to be the right of William, and have granted for themselves and the heirs of Margery that the tenements - which John de Boweles held for life of the inheritance of Margery in the aforesaid vill on the day the agreement was made, and which after the decease of John de Boweles ought to revert to John Bisshop' and Margery and the heirs of Margery - after the decease of John de Boweles shall remain to William and his heirs, to hold of the chief lords for ever.
